9.4.2.1. Creating slabs with selection
You can define slabs with their contour lines.
There are two options to define the contour:
- The area defined by the walls defines the slab.
- To define contours, use the Profile definition menu.
- In both cases you can offset slab at a defined distance related to the contour. This is very useful if the slab overhangs walls or fails to reach the outer isolating wall layer in the case of multilayered walls.
Areas defined by walls
- Select walls one by one or select the building by the selection rectangle. The slab will be created along the outer contour.
Profile definition menu
- Select the POPMENU keyword in the command line. Create slab contour by the Profile definition menu popping up.
&For the description see Chapter 8.2. Specifying profile.
Shifting slab contours
- Before defining the contour, select the keyword SHIFT in the command line.
- Specify the distance of shifting. If the slab is smaller than the contour defined by the walls, give shifting distance as a negative value.
